e50 top flap sealer

Machine Operation

The e50 is a continuous motion top flap carton sealer. Products are manually placed into the pre glued skillet carton. The minor flaps and bottom major flaps are manually tucked into position. The carton is then placed into the flighted infeed conveyor of the machine. The carton is then conveyed through the gluing section, where a line of hot melt adhesive is applied to the bottom major flap. The top flap is then ploughed down over the bottom flap and compressed to bond the flaps together.
